Caterina was born in Florence, where she studied printmaking and bookbinding, an early foundation in craftsmanship that continues to inform her photographic eye.

Her journey began in the world of paper conservation, where she worked closely with art restorers. Over time, her passion shifted toward photography, evolving into a professional path when in 2013 she relocated to London.

She now divides her time between Italy and the UK.

Her practice is intuitive, rooted in quiet observation with a strong emphasis on atmosphere, craft, and storytelling.

She has long been drawn to the subtle textures of everyday life — the stillness between moments, the poetry in routine, and the beauty of objects and spaces shaped by time and use.

Her images aim to tell honest, visually rich stories with depth and sensitivity.
