b. Florence, Italy.
Caterina moved to London in 2013, where she was confronted with new experiences and cultural influences that changed her deeply.
As a self-taught photographer, her work is intuitive with an introspective, documentary approach and cinematic influences.
She finds novelty in the mundane, routine activities are something to be studied, everyday objects are curiosities to be dissected and she relishes in narrating stories of people and places.
She currently teaches photography and post-production at the
London Institute of Photography
alongside working on private commissions.
